6/14/2013 Tornado and hail near West Point, NE.

Caleb Elliot sends in this amazing footage of a nicely striated tornado warned storm that developed in near West Point, NE in Cuming County Nebraska this evening.

The storm exploded and remained nearly stationary as it wound up. The storm became tornado warned but quickly lost that warning due to ingesting other storms to the south. Hail, strong winds, and heavy rain came as the storm became outflow dominant.

Video package opens with shots of the developing funnel on the left hand side of the screen, then the striated monster with a lightning strike and then transitions to show some of the quarter to ping pong sized hail damaging crops.
